Shimano STEPS E7000 Cycle Computer Display
Shimano’s STEPS E7000 Cycle Computer Display works as both the controller for a STEPS motor and as a normal bike computer at the same time. This means that it displays and records the usual bike computer metrics such as distance, speed, odometer and averages as well as having the functionality to connect to smartphone apps such as Strava. It can also be connected to Shimano’s E-Tube app for more data, firmware updates and some customisation of functions. From an electric-bike point of view, the computer shows battery life and controls the motor’s modes as well as calculating distance remaining.
